        General Rules of the event:
        Motor Limit: 10,5T brushless
Battery: 6cell NIMH or 2cell LIPO.
Tires: DS Racing Competition II Zero-F tire. It`s not allowed to modify the tire! Tire shall have the DS Racing text on the outside, and the Zero-F marking on inside.
Body: Realistic 1:10 drift bodyshells. The cars have to look like a competition car at the start of the event.
Spoilers must look realistic and have a realistic size. Spoilers must not protrude the body by more than 5mm on each side, and not more than 15mm behind it.

Tires/rims are not allowed to protrude the bodyshell by more than 2mm at the widest part.

        Lights are allowed.
Chassis: 1/10 with 257mm center distance only. It`s not allowed to change or use other contenders chassi during the competition, it shall be announced and referred with the judges!
Drive: CS and 50/50 are welcome! But CS will have advantage, when judging points will look at counter steer, style and angle.
No LiPo charging without a safety bag please.

        Scrutineering:
The technical inspector can always disapprove any car and reject the car for the contest, if the car deviates the regulations. The reason for the failure will immediately be told to the contestant, so he/she can make adjustments and present the car again.

A contestant can present his/hers car again to the inspector until 5 minutes before qualifying, and after approval the contestant can qualify. If the car does not pass the technical inspection, the driver must leave the place of inspection and he/she will not be allowed to compete.
Technical defect during qualification and battles:
In case of a technical defect, the contestant will get a 5 minute window to repair the car.
The car must be repaired at the table – not on the track! If the car is not repaired within the given time, the result will automatically be a 0 score in qualifying – or a lost battle if the defect happens in a final.
        Judges:
Line and clipping judge: Morten Huva Stenseth
Counter steer and style judge: Fredric Aasbø
        Angle and Speed judge:TBA

        Judge scoring:
        1) Line and clipping max. 40 points
        2) Angle and speed max. 30 points
        3) Counter steer and style max. 30 points
        Qualifying:
During qualification each driver contents 3 laps. All rounds will be judged. The maximum score is 100 points.

As you now understand, low or bad counter steer may also affect style points! To get maximum points, everything has to be 100% perfect - including all the elements above; line, clipping, counter steer, style, angle and speed.

        Judging during battles:
        1. There are 2 cars: A leading car – the leader and a chasing car – the chaser.
        2. Hitting/ramming other contestants is not allowed – however small touches or leaning into the leading car is allowed – provided that the line of the lead car is undisturbed.
If 2 cars collide, the driver causing the crash will lose the battle. If there is doubt on who caused the collision, the judges can look at it, as a race incident or call a re-run of the exact heat. Deliberate collisions such as sandbagging/brake checking etc. can be punished with disqualification. Judges will not see this!
        3. Overtaking is not allowed, except when leader mistakes and drifts far off the ideal line. The chaser may not disturb the leader when overtaking. Unnecessary overtaking will be marked down.
        4. The leader must do whatever it takes to simulate the ideal qualification line.
        5. The chaser has to do the same. While doing that, the chaser must also drift as close to the leader as possible - unless the leader has a spin-out/crash or if the leader is far off the ideal line. Chaser must have at least the same ‘style’ criteria as the leader at all times. But in really close door to door battles, chase car is allowed to do some adjustments to keep the line.
        6. If the score is exactly the same after two runs, there will be issued a re-run.
A re-run will always contain two new runs (Lead + Chase). After a maximum of two re-runs the jury must call a winner. Up from the top 32 there will be as much re-runs as necessary to call a contestant winner.
        7. In case of a point tie between a CS driver and a 50/50 driver after #6 above, the CS driver will ultimately gain an advantage and advance.
