FG Modellsport GmbH legges ned 1 april 2014

Mr. Gröschl decided to close down FG Modellsport by the end of March this year.
He could not find neither a successor nor a buyer.

FG is still a very attractive brand in large scale model cars so there might be someone who carries on the brand in the long run but at this point of time we don't know for sure.
All we can say for sure is that the company will be closed down here in Winterbach, Germany.

We are sorry for having no better news.

Har fått med meg dette. Synd at det skulle skje, det er jo eigd av herr og fru Gröschl, har hørd at fru ikkje hadde montert "killswitch" på herr og han hadde putta layshaften i lageret på ett anna understell som ikkje var kona sitt.

French company T2M has just acquired FG Modellsport, maker of large-scale kits ranging from touring cars and F1 to buggies and monster trucks.
FG’s German HQ in Winterbach will close at the end of this month and during April the warehouse and production facilities will be moved to France to Faulquemont, where all future orders will be processed.
T2M is the French distributor of major brands such as Tamiya, Italeri, Roco, OS Engine and Hot Wheels – and now they own the biggest large-scale name in the business!
