Proposed HBF Cloned Aftermarket Part Rules
Well, after many discussions about clones and their usefullness, I will detail what is and is not considered a clone on HPIBajaForum.
1) Any vehicle that has the same exact design and parts as the HPI Baja is considered a Baja Clone. There are several out there now, no need to tell you who makes them.
2) Any manufacturer that blatantly copies an HPI or aftermarket part is considered a clone manufacturer. This includes the clone factory and now the aftermarket factories.
In simple terms, any manufacturer that steals a design and produces said design without any changes, will be banned from talk on HBF.
If a clone factory has a new design that they haven't stolen, their pictures will be allowed in posts. If a clone factory takes a part and makes it better with different material or fabrication methods, they will be allowed to post. The moderators will be asked to move any clone discussions to a private area, while we discuss the cloneliness of each item. It is very easy to tell though for most of us.
3) Any sponsor or re-seller that feels they need to support these thiefs will be asked to leave and find somewhere else to hawk their stolen goods. They have until December 31st to clear their inventory of the copies.
Yes, there are patent laws that protect these thiefs and allow them to continue to sell thier stolen designs. But, since this is a private forum, owned by me, I can protect our manfuacturers with censorship. There is no Freedom of Speech regarding these thiefs. I consider it a crime.

Når de først kom med en ny servo så kunne de da laget en som var litt raskere......
Håper denne er noe bedre enn den "gamle" 5745....

denne erstatter ikke hs5745.
HSR 5990 TG er en stadard servo. passer pefekt til gass/brems.
på FG, HPI, Harm, Cleon, osv
0,14 sec er mer en fort nok til gass/brems. det er stor forskjell i fra 0,20 til 0,14 selv om det bare er snakk om 6 hundre dels sekund.
kanskej jeg skulle bestille 3 av den. 1 til gass/brems og 2 til styringA REAL TWIN IS A V-TWIN.
alt under 1200 cc er en startmotor.
